Andrea Galvis Nazario 

 Programs & Cultural Heritage Management 

Andrea Galvis Nazario strongly believes in prioritizing the value of culture as a key tool for sustainable development, interdisciplinary education, and peacebuilding. She studied  Anthropology and Archaeology at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras campus. In 2013 Andrea worked for the Student Association Conservation Internship Program at Crater Lake National Park and Lava Beds National Park. She participated in the museum's inventory, trails, translation, archaeology, and research. In 2015, she graduated from the Master's program in World Heritage Studies, based on the international organization UNESCO, an entity that is open to recognition, the safeguarding of cultural and natural heritage. Currently, her podcast and blog Explorando con Consciencia, emphasizes awareness of the consumption of heritage, the role that culture has in our lives, and how it impacts our environment.
