#ColoradoLaBella Adventures

In Partnership with Work Gone WILD

Work Gone WILD is a state-wide initiative and an experimental program that introduces youth to careers in natural resources, the environment and outdoor stewardship. Launched in 2015 by Colorado Alliance of Environmental Education in partnership with the Colorado Youth Corps Association, Work Gone WILD now teams up with Americas for Conservation's #ColoradoLaBella campaign to produce a culturally relevant program running one day per quarter from fall 2016 to summer 2017 with each program day focusing on one of the four elements: earth, air, fire and water. Each day, youth leaders will learn about careers by visiting the locations of different natural resource agencies, organizations, and higher education institutions to interact with staff about their life stories, career paths and current jobs, and engage in hands-on activities that exposes youth to inspiring 1st time experiences in environmental stewardship related professions and build relevant job skills. All experiences will integrate Culture, Art and Nature experiences.

We are looking for student groups to participate in these all-day events. There is no cost involved to attend and participate. Your organization/ school is responsible to cover for transportation and we will provide programming and lunch.
