2019 U-CAN SUMMER YOUTH CONGRESS
Americas for Conservation + the Arts (AFC+A), in partnership with the support of the US Forest Service & its Woodsy Owl Conservation Corps, are looking forward to hosting young leaders from across the country, Puerto Rico and Mexico, to participate in the United Cultures for Art + Nature (U-CAN) Green Ambassadors Youth Congress this Summer of 2019.

STUDENTS MUST BE GRADES: 8th - 12th
We are excited to invite our partners, education and conservation organizations, and the community at large to submit nominations of future leaders in your organizations and communities. Nominees should be students interested in natural sciences, arts and the outdoors.
The U-CAN scholarship covers all of the program costs including; your transportation (inside the Country and/or State, no more than 50 miles distance) to and from one of the designated pick-up spots, and your lodging and meals during your stay. In this Congress, students will experience an innovative curriculum joining studies in the principles of environmental stewardship with the development of creative skills in verbal, visual, and sound arts and their application to social change.
